Age Concern Norfolk remembers the late Joan Fowler

A ceremony to remember the late Joan Fowler took place last month at Age Concern Norfolk's county office premises in Old Catton.  Joan was a Trustee of Age Concern Norfolk and a valued member of our information and advice team.

A cherry tree was planted by Joan's grandson, Thomas Fowler, and the Chairman of Age Concern Norfolk, Alan MacKim, and Joan's brother spoke about her commitment and dedication to the voluntary roles that Joan undertook during her life.  A number of Joan's family joined Trustees, staff and volunteers for the ceremony and a plaque will be placed under the tree marking the ceremony.

A total of £550 was raised for Age Concern Norfolk in Joan's memory and this money is being used to support the work of our information and advice team.
