New services from Age Concern Norfolk

Age Concern Norfolk is now offering two new services for older people in Norfolk - a Bereavement Advice Service and a Care Home Advocacy Service.

Bereavement Advice Service

The Bereavement Advice Service offers practical help and support to older people who are recently bereaved and have no family or friends to assist them. The Service is free and confidential and can help with:

 

  • registering the death
  • arranging the funeral
  • contacting solicitors
  • checking benefits
  • completing any appropriate forms
  • contacting state and private pension providers.

Care Home Advocacy Service

The Care Home Advocacy Service provides independent advocates to help older people living in a care home. We will provide a flexible service which meets the needs of residents in care homes resolving issues of concern.
