Respite Homes

Age Concern Norfolk has over 60 years of experience in working with older people in Norfolk promoting their well-being to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Our services seek to provide a flexible and responsive service to meet people's needs by way of empowering them to influence the service they receive.  We encourage service users to have a positive and rewarding stay by ensuring privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment.  We take account of service users emotional and physical needs, providing a welcoming environment together with a varied programme of activities and events.

Both respite homes offer the opportunity for older people throughout Norfolk to take a break away from home, to rest or recuperate following accident or illness, or simply to socialise, renewing old acquaintances or making new friends.  It also offers support to those people who care for older relatives or friends by helping them to plan for their own holidays or break.
