Early Christmas Sale at Grays Fair Court

Grays Fair Court, Age Concern Norfolk′s Community Support Centre in New Costessey, held its first sale on 14th November 2009, the theme being ″Early Christmas″.

The weather was very wet and windy and everyone wondered what impact this would have on attendance. We needn't have worried - at 2pm the doors were opened and by 2.15 the communal areas were full to bursting with 150+ people visiting our sale.

There was a large raffle with over 50 seasonal prizes, many donated by local businesses and service users. Hand made craft stalls included hand knitted toys and Christmas decorations, wooden toys and cards. The cake stall sold out within an hour and the tombola had a constant queue of customers, and of course the day was made complete by a visit from Father Christmas.

 

We made a total of £1,144.99 in less than 2 hours and everyone had a brilliant day. Well done Grays Fair Court.
