Boost to day centres and lunch clubs as Age Concern Norfolk receives Big Lottery Fund award.

Age Concern Norfolk is delighted to have been awarded the sum of £110,931 from the Big Lottery Fund.
The money will pay for a community development worker for three years to provide support to voluntary groups running day centres and lunch clubs. The changing environment around funding and the need to provide evidence of the quality of the service provided is going to challenge many groups and their trustees and the post holder will provide support and assistance in this.
Eamon McGrath, Community Development Manager said, “ It is terrific to get this money so that we can increase the level of support we give to day centres and lunch clubs who do so much form the older people of Norfolk. I look forward to seeing the benefits that this will bring to the groups and to older people”.
