Campaigning for a better deal for older people is central to the work of Age UK Norfolk. We do this by participating in local and national campaigns on issues that affect older people. In 2007 the then Age Concern was voted by MPs as the most effective campaigning organisation and this came about because of the involvement of local people as well as the work that is done in Parliament.
Responding to local and national consultations is another aspect of our work and in doing so it is important to reflect what older people locally think.

Age UK Norfolk will soon be campaigning with Age UK (the new charity combining Age Concern England and Help the Aged) for better support for older carers.
High council taxes are hitting older people hard. Age UK Norfolk is campaigning to ensure council tax is affordable and fair to older people.
