Age Concern Norfolk Open Day

(Monday 2nd July 2007 - Monday 2nd July 2007)

An opportunity for local people and businesses to pop-in and find out more about getting involved with our charitable work.

Age Concern Norfolk is the leading charity supporting older people in your area. We provide a range of invaluable services, which help to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience for all.

We would like to invite local people and representatives from local businesses to pop-in to an Open Day at our Great House training centre, 300 St Faith’s Road, Old Catton on Monday 2 July 2007, 10am to 3pm. We will be showcasing a range of opportunities for you to get involved in our work, for example through volunteering and by supporting our forthcoming events.

What is in it for you?
  • The benefits of participating in something worthwhile.
  • Volunteering can be an excellent way of building your confidence up following a period of unemployment.
  • Give something back to your local community.

For businesses:
  • It will allow you to promote the ethics of your business.
  • Assist your staff to develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills through volunteering.
  • Promote your business by getting involved in forthcoming events.

So why not take an hour or so out of your day to find out more?
